Welcome to Jesse Hintze’s portfolio site. My work has migrated through the world of print media and then into the technological landscape of the web. What I really love about interactive work is that the technology is always expanding. To stay current one must be devoted to a lifetime of learning. I am excited by constant innovations that happen in the field of interactive media.

I have grown up with the evolution of the web. I have seen type and graphics evolve through various stages as designers have learned web code. As the web matured, so has the nature of the aesthetics. And, as the capabilities of modern browsers improve they have allowed for artists and designers to be able to express themselves in compelling ways. My excitement for web design and development has increasingly grown with this transition, as an art medium and communication tool. For my work in this medium I push for usability, coupled with a beautiful design. The territory is very competitive; one has to keep up with design trends, aesthetics, and advances in coding while staying focused on user experience. This is an extremely fast paced, challenging field that keeps me enthusiastic.

Fulfillment comes from taking a design problem and incorporating æsthetics and functionality to enrich the user’s experience. Passion for art and design has led me to a career in Visual Communications.
